Meet Our Team
We offer quality hair cuts in all sorts of styles for long & short hair, beard trimming, student cuts, kids hair cuts and as an LGBTQ+ friendly space everyone is welcome here, including your four-legged amigos (Dogs are sick!)
Our team are a proper friendly bunch, so come and say hello to us at the shop and we'll make sure you are well looked after; we also cater for people who are neurodivergent and/or nervous about getting their hair cut.
Lou
Head Barber (He/Him) Styles: Old school, classic, mullets
Lou opened up Wild Side Barbers in 2021 after working in the industry for 10 years, not being able to find a barbershop to work in that was fully inclusive he decided to open up his own!
Lou enjoys all things Americana, Country music and talking about his cat. His favourite haircuts to do are old school classic haircuts, mullets and of course anything out of the ordinary!
Covey
Barber (They/Them) Styles: Short cuts, shags, mullets
Covey is our latest addition to the team but with 5 years experience behind them you will be in very safe hands. They have already built up a massive client base.
Their hobbies are thrifting, Interior design, and music, not to mention their lovely dog Rue! Covey specalises in shorter hairstyles, mullets, shags and designs in hair.
Ali
Barber (He/Him) Styles: Long hair, shags, classics
Ali only works 2 days a week at Wild Side but is a huge asset to our team! With music being his second job he is very good at recommending new bands, his other interests include cooking and going down the pub!
He also loves doing a longer hairstyle or shag haircut but is very good at the classics, mullets, short back and sides etc.
Brooke
Barber (She/Her) Styles: Mod cuts, Funky, Trad, Queer cuts
Brooke has been in the barbering industry for 4 years and brings a creative, open-minded approach to the chair. She enjoys everything from classic barbering to more expressive and alt cuts.
Outside of the shop, Brooke enjoys watching Eastenders, going to metal gigs, and wild swimming.
Keira
Barber (She/Her) Styles: Mullets, Quirky Textured Cuts
Keira has been in the industry for 5 years, and is our newest member of the Wild Side gang.
In her free time she loves to travel and explore creative outlets. She absolutely loves a mullet, and is also a part-time special-effects makeup artist.
Rue
Branch Manager (She/They) Style: Curly, Iconic
Rue is the backbone of our shop team, keeping all the staff in line and making sure our customers get a warm welcome whenever she is in the shop.
She enjoys nice walks with Covey, making friends, and resembling a crispy fried chicken nugget ❤
